ABOUT THE AUTHOR
When EV Starkey was a kid she lived near Sherwood Forest in England, where she made forts, mud potions, and hamster hotels, and climbed trees until way past bedtime. Now she lives in Brooklyn, NY where she still climbs trees and runs the Bellport Children’s Festival.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATORS
Polka Paper is the art team of Finns Kristiina Haapalainen and Sami Vähä-Aho, who create illustrations and produce stationery. Their garden- and nature-themed illustrations are based on their life in Kimito Island, Finland, where they work and live with their three children in an old wooden house with a wild garden.
